Governing Body Membership
The Governors at Badshot Lea Village Infant School comprise parents, teachers, members of our local community and our local authority.
The Governing Body has three core functions:
- Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
- Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff;
- Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
Together we bring the skills and experience needed to lead the school, ensuring that the children who come here get the best education possible.
To do this Governors meet on a regular basis and also come into school to monitor quality, making sure the three core functions are being met effectively and ensuring that the children in our care get the best education possible.
Our meetings are open so every member of the school community is always welcome to attend.
